A factory visit lets a paper coating line buyer check machine build quality, workshop space and process layout before any equipment is specified. During a recent visit to Qingdao Jieruixin Machinery And Technology Co., Ltd. in Qingdao, a customer from Uzbekistan reviewed coating, slitting and rewinding options against his own paper production plans.
The program combined a meeting at the JRX office with a walk through the production workshop. JRX introduced its business and product range, with the main focus on paper coating machines and related converting machinery. The two parties then worked through four inputs: the paper products the customer intends to make, the target production capacity, the finished product specifications, and the factory space already available. Those four points form the basis for evaluating the configuration and layout of the proposed production line.
A catalogue shows dimensions; a workshop shows how a machine is actually built, wired and run. Walking the floor let the customer inspect frame construction, drying oven sections and tension control hardware on assembled units rather than on drawings. Questions about coating method, drying capacity and changeover time were answered on site, which shortens the later quotation stage. Buyers preparing a first line can compare this step against our step-by-step guide to building a complete paper coating production line.
Four groups of data drive the configuration: paper types and base paper GSM, target output in metres per minute or tonnes per day, finished roll specification including width, diameter and core size, and the clear height plus floor area of the workshop. Where converting is planned for a later phase, the layout must also reserve room for raw material handling, finished roll storage and downstream processing. Without those figures a capacity proposal is guesswork. The reasoning behind a single-source scope is set out in why a turnkey coating project partner matters.
In the workshop the JRX team explained what each main unit does and how the three stages connect for a given end product. Coating sets coat weight and drying profile, slitting sets roll width tolerance, and rewinding controls web tension and roll density. The number of drying zones, the accumulator capacity and the buffer space between stages all follow from the finished product rather than from the machine alone. The slitting and rewinding end is covered in more detail in features to look for in a high-speed slitting and rewinding line.
Outside the formal agenda, JRX arranged time for the customer to experience Qingdao's local scenery, cuisine and culture. That time away from the meeting table gave both teams a less formal setting for exchange and helped build a shared understanding of the project.
JRX stays in contact to collect the outstanding technical information, namely target paper specifications, production capacity and workshop conditions, and uses it to refine the equipment configuration and the project plan. Reference visits to running lines and sample trials normally follow this stage. The same on-site working method is used in JRX after-sales service and production line visit programs for mills that are already in operation.
Buyers planning a similar project can send target paper types, capacity figures and workshop drawings to postmaster@qdjrx.com or call +86 13969628455 to arrange a visit to the Qingdao factory.
Look at assembled equipment rather than brochures: frame construction, drying oven sections, tension control hardware and how the coating head is adjusted. Then check whether the supplier asks for your paper type, target capacity, roll specification and workshop dimensions before quoting, and whether they can explain the coating, slitting and rewinding sequence for your end product.
Four groups of information: the paper types and base paper GSM you will run, the target capacity in metres per minute or tonnes per day, the finished roll specification including width, diameter and core size, and the clear height plus floor area of your workshop. Add the space needed for raw material handling and finished roll storage if converting is planned later.
A factory visit answers questions that drawings cannot: how the machine is actually assembled, how much floor space the line occupies, how the drying zones and accumulators are laid out, and how changeover is done. Technical questions are settled on site, which reduces the number of revision rounds before a quotation and a layout plan are issued.
Send your product plans, target capacity and workshop information to postmaster@qdjrx.com or call +86 13969628455, and state the dates you plan to travel. JRX will confirm a schedule covering the company meeting, the production workshop and discussion of the proposed paper coating line, then follow up on any technical information left open after the visit.
